    Assistive technology includes alternative input devices which are designed to provide additional accessibility to individuals who have physical or cognitive difficulties, impairments, and disabilities.  Alternative input devices allow individuals to control their computers through means other than a standard keyboard or pointing device. TalkingTILES supports these devices bringing AAC enabled speech and communication to the physically impaired in a way that makes assistive communication very accessible.

    Many people with severe physical or cognitive impairment use one or more switches to access computers. A switch is an assistive technology device that replaces the need to use a computer keyboard or a mouse.

  • TalkingTILES Launches at ISAAC2012

    We were pleased to announce the launch of TalkingTILES at theISAAC 2012 conference in Pittsburgh during the last week of July to a group of AAC therapists, professionals, researches and technologists from around the world. We got to meet to some amazing companies with very interesting technologies that complimented TalkingTILES very nicely and were humbled by the excitement and positive response from the attendees.
